Each letter begins as a handwritten original, composed with attention and revised without haste. That original is then faithfully reproduced and printed for mailing, allowing the same words to be shared with a small circle of readers. While the text remains the same, the posture of the letter does not change. It is written as correspondence rather than content, addressed with the assumption of a real reader on the other end.
Over the course of the year, subscribers will receive a sequence of four letters shaped by ordinary life, literature, and the practice of keeping words as a timeless heirloom. Some letters may take the form of reflective writing, while others may arrive as fragments, observations, or carefully chosen material meant to be lived with throughout your life.
